I am a novelist, book reviewer, tabletop gamer, obsolete video game enthusiast, father to my wonderful girls, and dog show roadie to the love of my life. I recopy the above quotes into every new idea book I carry around with me. The first reminds me to keep an open mind and consider the position of others, even if I may not agree. The second reminds me that there is always something more than what we can perceive.
